The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted tens of thousands lives worldwide. Today, while the situation in China appears to be reaching a turning point, the pandemic at the global level are still clamming. The number of confirmed and death cases are remain a worldwide pandemic, and countries been affected are increasing. The USA, Europe and Australia have now become the epicenter of the pandemic, with most of reported cases and deaths, more than those from China.

 

China has accumulated good amount of clinical experiences of clinical treatment of this disease. The protocol in the“Diagnosis and Treatment Protocol for COVID-19 (Trial Version 7)”highlighted the guideline and directives of combining Western Standard of Care (SOC) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment options for various conditions. It was the latest update based on previous versions published in China. The TCM formulation in this protocol was under the direct leadership of the National Administration of TCM, based on the expert panels’experience, and supported by evidence from many clinic centers, the ER room observations, and the inpatients hospitals nationwide, especially in Wuhan, Hubei province, combining with the latest scientific research results.

 

The world must unite and spare no effort to contain the virus. The medical options must be exchanged across different systems to compact the worldwide problem.
